The Neapolitan nativity scene tradition brought from Naples by King Charles III is perpetuated and honoured in this nativity scene designed by the prestigious collector and craftsman Miguel Vargas. Traditional scenes such as the Birth of the Baby Jesus, the Annunciation to the shepherds, the Adoration of the Three Kings and even the presence of King Herod make up a set of almost two hundred figures with which El Corte Inglés invites the people of Madrid to celebrate the eighth centenary of the first nativity scene created by Saint Francis of Assisi. A crèche in which every detail has been carefully designed to create a complex scenography on different levels, with rivers, mountains, trees, houses and all the characters that gather around the birth of the Baby Jesus.
