Feliz Navidad
Decorating trees at Christmas has been a tradition since the Middle Ages. Originally, fruit was used, especially red apples, but around the middle of the 19th century, after a winter of scarcity in the Vosges region of France, an artisan decided to replace them with the glass baubles we all know today. The Australian studio Atelier Sisu transfers these decorations to the public space, distributing up to fifty inflatable spheres that play with the reflections of the sunlight during the day and come to life at night thanks to their internal lighting. As if the baubles on our tree had escaped to dress up the Madrid Río Park for Christmas.
Accessibility type
For reasons beyond the control of the organisers and due to the large number of spectators at certain times during the event, the planned physical accessibility conditions may be modified.
The physical accessibility of the route will be determined by the accessibility of the public road.
