This popular artistic nativity scene is the work of the renowned sculptor José Luis Mayo Lebrija. It invites visitors to immerse themselves in the magic of Christmas through a journey showing classic scenes of the Nativity, the Three Kings, the Annunciation to the shepherds and the bustle of Bethlehem, all carefully set amongst vegetation and natural materials. The biblical figures show the detail and artistry characteristic of Mayo’s workshop, and a river of water flows through the landscape. This nativity scene is a unique opportunity to admire up close the work of one of the great masters of nativity scenes and enjoy the essence of the Christmas tradition in an authentic and evocative setting.
