Madrid Lit Up by the Splendour of the Nativity Scene
Madrid has an impressive architectural heritage and is home to the Prado Museum, one of the most important art galleries in the world, making it the perfect setting for a unique project. Imagine connecting all that beauty in a single tour. We invite you to enjoy a unique experience where the City’s most emblematic places and masterpieces intertwine to form a monumental nativity scene projected onto church façades in the City’s historic centre. From the Royal Monastery of the Incarnation to the church of San Andrés Apóstol, art and history merge in a route full of tradition and beauty.
On December 23, the concert of the Young Philharmonic Choir of Madrid accompanies the visual installation on the south façade of the Royal Church of San Andrés. A very special night in which we gather around art, music and Christmas and which closes this cycle of Projected Nativity Scenes with a typically Christmas recital that serves as an early celebration of Christmas Eve, an exciting moment for unforgettable holidays.
