Miguel Chevalier
Navidad de cristal (Crystal Christmas) is a creation by Miguel Chevalier that transforms the patio of the Condeduque Cultural Centre into a winter landscape of crystals and fractal structures. Inspired by the geometry and complexity of snowflakes, Chevalier uses cutting-edge technology and artificial intelligence to bring to life a visual choreography in which digital crystals form, spin and fade away, responding to visitors’ movements. This interactive tapestry invites the public to immerse themselves in reinvented nature, where each step creates iridescent reflections and a unique immersive experience.
Chevalier, an internationally renowned digital art pioneer, is renowned for creating immersive installations that challenge our perception of the natural world. He has been exploring the shapes and patterns of nature through digital media for decades, reinterpreting organic beauty in the virtual realm. Navidad de cristal represents a unique opportunity to experience the work of an artist who continues to redraw the boundaries between the physical and digital worlds and whose talent brings a contemporary and poetic dimension to Christmas in Madrid.
