Nativity Scene at the Real Casa de Correos

The Madrid Region invites you to discover, again this year, the Nativity Scene at the Real Casa de Correos. It has more than 480 figures by leading nativity scene sculptors, such as José Luis Mayo, Castells brothers, Cerrada brothers, Ángeles Cámara and Olot.

This nativity scene, covering 145 square metres, is inspired by ancient fortified villages built with adobe and wood, taking visitors back to ancient times when life and trade flourished at the gates of the desert. At the heart of this work is a small island surrounded by water, the symbol of life, and the house where Jesus was born. This scene shines like a spiritual beacon amidst the hustle and bustle, serving as a peaceful, thought-provoking refuge amidst the vibrant activity around it.
