Part of the Christmas market. Traditional nativity scene set up by the Madrid Association of Nativity Scene Makers.

Once again this year, in time for Advent and Christmas, the Municipal Council of the District of Fuencarral-El Pardo is one of the municipal facilities that will be presenting a nativity scene, much to the delight and enjoyment of children and adults alike. The nativity scene is approximately 12 square metres in size, and this year, so that it can be more easily seen and enjoyed, it will be set up outside in a stall in the Handicrafts and Gifts Fair located next to the District’s offices.

ILLUMINATED NATIVITY SCENES

Carrying on the tradition, illuminated nativity scenes with figures over 2 metres high will be set up in the neighbourhoods of Las Tablas, Montecarmelo and Arroyofresno.

SCHOOL NATIVITY SCENES COMPETITION. 25th Edition.

For yet another year, the Nativity Scenes Competition is being held so that schools, nursery schools and special education centres can present their work. They can choose any format and use any technique.

The prizes consist of educational and didactic material and are awarded in several different categories:  1st and 2nd Prizes; Most Original Nativity Scene; Special Education Centres; Nursery Schools; Most Participatory Creative Process; Most Innovative Character; Chosen Theme Containing Values.
