At Christmas, mysterious beings emerge from the depths of the Earth to show us that light conquers darkness. Creatures like Knecht Ruprecht, the antagonist or assistant of Saint Nicholas in the German tradition, and the Carochos of the winter masquerades in northern Spain. In this workshop, we’ll learn how to make masks that represent these fascinating characters.
