The black music scene in Madrid is a limitless wellspring of talent, and Mamafunko, formed over 25 years ago by Edward Morse and Jose Funko, is one of its most iconic bands. At this year’s edition of Madrid’s Christmas Encounters, Mamafunko will light up Plaza Matadero with a Christmas celebration to the beat of funk, disco, psychedelia and rock.
